Canaan Dog con l'affisso "Velikaya's" (riconosciuto ENCI-FCI)
dal 1990. In questi 16 anni i miei cani hanno lasciato un segno indelebile nella
storia del Canaan in Europa, non solo per le loro vittorie alle piu' importanti
esposizioni ma anche per aver contribuito allo sviluppo della razza in varie
nazioni europee, tra le quali Francia, Slovacchia, Finlandia, Germania, Svizzera,
Olanda e Belgio. Una mia femmina: Ch Velikaya's Shuvi Habayta di proprietà di
Myrna Shiboleth, Shaar Hagai kennels, ha ottenuto in Israele un Best in Show,
cosa assai rara per un Canaan Dog; ed un mio maschio: Multi Ch e più
volte Campione Mondiale ed Europeo Velikaya's Lahatutan, in stazione di
monta per un anno in Inghilterra, ha vinto la razza al Crufts nel
2001 ed e' stato migliore del sesso opposto nel 2002. Migliore di razza nel 2003
e' stato un suo figlio.
Figli e nipoti di cani da me
allevati vincono in tutto il mondo portando avanti il tipo Velikaya's.
Come
ho gia' detto, tantissimi sono stati i successi dei miei Canaan Dog ad
esposizioni mondiali, europee, speciali..... e diversi i riconoscimenti in
Israele, patria della razza; ma cio' che mi ha reso particolarmente felici e'
stato il dividere tutti questi anni con questi cani eccezionali, imparare a
capirli e ad apprezzarli totalmente.

I have been
breeding Canaan Dogs with the kennel name Velikaya's (recognized ENCI-FCI) since
1990. In these 16 years my dogs have left a distinct and everlasting mark
in the history of the Canaan Dog in Europe, not only for their wins at the most
important shows but also having contributed to the development of the breed in
several European countries, amongst them: France, Slovakia, Finland, Germany,
Switzerland, Holland and Belgium. One of my bitches: Ch Velikaya's Shuvi Habayta owned
by Myrna Shiboleth - Shaar Hagai kennels, won a Best in Show in Israel, a very
rare feat for a Canaan; and one of my males: Multi Ch. and Multi World and
Europe Winner Velikaya's Lahatutan, while standing at stud for one
year in England was Best of Breed at Crufts in 2001 and Best of Opposite Sex in
2002. One of his sons was Best of Breed in 2003.

world showcasing the type for which Velikaya's is known
As
I have said, many have been the successes of my Canaan Dogs at World, Europe and
Specialty Shows including vast recognition and acknowledgement in Israel,
the country of origin; but what has made me particularly glad is to have
been able to have spent all these years together with these exceptional
dogs, to learn to understand and appreciate them totally.
